Free Plinko Game

Drop the ball, pick your risk and watch it bounce. Free Plinko with 8, 12 or 16 rows and up to 1000× multipliers. No download, no real money.

Plinko is pure chance with a twist you control: you choose how many rows of pegs the ball falls through and how risky the payout table is. Drop as many balls as you like at once. It’s free, it runs in your browser, and the coins have no cash value.

How to play Plinko

  1. Set your bet. Type an amount or use ½, 2× and Max.
  2. Pick a risk level. Low keeps most results near your bet. High makes the center pay little and the edges pay big.
  3. Pick the rows. More rows mean bigger edge multipliers, and edges that are harder to reach.
  4. Drop the ball. At every peg it bounces left or right with equal odds. The slot it lands in sets your payout.

Plinko odds: why the edges are rare

Each bounce is a coin flip, so where the ball lands follows a bell curve. With 16 rows there are 65,536 equally likely paths, and only one of them ends in each corner slot. That’s why the corner pays 1000× on high risk: you can expect it about once in every 65,536 drops.

RowsPathsChance of one cornerChance of the middle slot

124,0961 in 4,09622.6%

Every risk and row setting on Blitz returns between 98.7% and 99.5% of what you bet over the long run, and the exact figure is shown under the Drop button. Risk changes how bumpy the ride is, not the average.

Plinko FAQ

Is there a Plinko strategy?

No setting changes the long-run return much. What you can choose is volatility: low risk for steady sessions, high risk for rare big hits. Read Is Plinko luck or skill? for the full math.

Where does Plinko come from?

The name comes from a pricing game on the American TV show The Price Is Right. The board itself is a version of a Galton board, a 19th-century device built to show how random bounces form a bell curve.
